Tropical Smoothie Cafe is coming to Davenport.
The Polk Squeeze found a building permit filed with Polk County for a first-time buildout at 42660 Hwy 27, Davenport, FL 33837, in the Holly Hill Grove and Fruit Co subdivision.
The project carries a $250,000 job value and will run about 1,200 square feet, covering new interior partitions, equipment, finishes, and lighting.
The property is owned by Publix Super Markets Inc, suggesting the new café will sit in a Publix-anchored shopping center. A contractor has not yet been selected — the permit lists it as "To Be Decided."
The application is still at "Application Received," the earliest stage in the county's review process, so construction hasn't started yet. No opening date has been announced.
