A second Miniso could be headed to Lakeland.
A commercial permit filed August 5th shows Miniso listed as the tenant for a $450,000 remodel at 1474 Town Center Dr, Suite 102, inside Lakeside Village.
The permit is a remodel/alteration filing, meaning the interior fit-out for an existing suite, and the property owner on record is CR Lakeside Village LLC.
Lakeland's first Miniso opened at Lakeland Square Mall on US Highway 98 North in August 2025, drawing a big enough crowd for their grand opening weekend to rack up over 1,000 likes on the announcement post alone.
Now, a year later, this new filing points to a second location on the other side of town, inside the Lakeside Village mixed-use development near Lake Hollingsworth.
The permit is currently listed as Under Review, so nothing is finalized yet.
Miniso hasn't listed the location on their own store finder as of this week, but a $450,000 buildout tied to a named tenant is well past the speculative stage.
Permits like this typically get filed once a lease is signed, so the announcement is likely just a matter of time.
