Orlando just took the top spot in WalletHub's 2026 ranking of the best coffee cities in America, and Tampa wasn't far behind.
WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across 12 indicators, from coffee shops per capita to the average price of a cappuccino to the share of households that own coffee makers. Orlando scored 68.55 out of 100 to finish first.
Orlando led the country in coffee and tea shops offering free Wi-Fi per capita, tied for the most donut shops per capita, and ranked third for coffee shops, coffee houses, and cafés per capita.
Portland came in second and Miami third, with Long Beach fourth and Seattle fifth. Tampa landed at No. 6, making it three Florida cities in the top 10.
So where does that leave Polk?
Sitting right between the #1 and #6 coffee cities in America, but not on the list, since WalletHub only studies the country's largest cities.
