Winter Haven is getting a new breakfast and lunch spot from a familiar name.
The team behind The Krazy Greek, which bills itself as a 5x Best of Central Florida award winner, is opening a sister restaurant called Nook & Griddle at 6370 Cypress Gardens Blvd in Winter Haven.
They are partnering up with the father-son-duo who are former owners of The Egghouse, and original Manny's Chophouse in Lake Wales and Mike's in Bartow.
The location is the former Hurricane Grill & Wings building, right next door to The Krazy Greek's own restaurant.
Nook & Griddle describes itself as a breakfast, brunch, and lunch concept with the tagline "Where Comfort Meets Craft."
The business announced the opening on Facebook, and started hiring for all positions on August 17. Applications are being accepted in person only, either at the new location or next door at The Krazy Greek.
Menu items and hours of operation have not been announced yet.
The business says both will be posted in the coming weeks.
UPDATE: One of the owners, Mike, was nice enough to reach out and share that they're planning on hours 6:30AM - 2:30PM with a modern breakfast and lunch, mimosas, cappuccinos and more!
No opening date has been announced.
