I have seen some new wing spots popping up around Polk County and figured it was time to get a current list going so we have one if the new spots need adding to eventually.
We surprisingly haven't seen a single article on wings in our Best Food In Polk County articles, so this will be a good one to get a gauge of how the community ranks them (I'm curious how many sports bars and pizza shops we'll see compared to places devoted to just wings!)
The last couple weeks I have hit some big categories, like the best seafood in Winter Haven and the best BBQ in Polk County — so I'm not as intimidated by the best wings in Lakeland — but excited to see what we come up with nevertheless.
But okay, enough about what we've already talked about and more about what we're talking about now...
The Best Wing Spots in Lakeland, Florida.

I'm a big fan of wings, but I don't necessarily consider myself to have a high heat tolerance. I can do "hot" wings, but once you get to MEGA hot heat, I'm typically out.
First Place: Winners Circle Sportsbar & Grill

Coming in at number one on our list, and taking the top spot by a landslide, is Winners Circle.
Winners Circle didn’t just win … it dominated.
It consistently got the most votes and the strongest reactions in virtually every single poll we pulled from.
With voters sharing:
- “Winners Circle, hands down.”
- “Best wings I’ve ever had.”
- “PB&J wings are my favorite!”
- “You can mix flavors — so good.”
It didn’t just come up a lot, people were confident about it being the number one spot in Lakeland (and sometimes Polk County)!
Between the variety of flavors, strong consistency, and loyal following, it’s clear why this is the go-to wing spot in Lakeland.
Second Place: 716 Pizza Joint
The Second Best Wing Spot In Lakeland, Florida
716 Pizza Joint — 1950 S Combee Rd
Coming in at second is 716 Pizza Joint, and this one has a very specific reputation.
If you're looking for Buffalo-style wings, this is the spot.
With voters sharing:
- "Best wings outside of Buffalo."
- "They're from Buffalo. You can tell."
- "Nothing compares to 716."
One thing that kept coming up across multiple polls: even when people were trying to recommend other places, they still referenced 716 as the standard.
That says a lot.
Third Place: Decisions Grill & Bar

Decisions Grill & Bar — 1621 E Edgewood Dr G
Coming in at third is Decisions.
Decisions didn't dominate any single poll, but it did show up in every single one.
And that consistency is what earned it a top three spot.
With voters sharing:
- "Decisions hands down."
- "Crispy and well sauced."
- "They've got like 30 flavors to choose from."
When locals are asked about wings in Lakeland, Decisions is one of the most reliable answers you're going to get.
Fourth Place: End Zone
The Fourth Best Wing Spot In Lakeland, Florida

Coming in at fourth is End Zone.
This one started low in the 6-7 spot and then suddenly surged into the top 5 with tons of votes coming in later polls/votes.
With voters sharing:
- "End Zone honey cajun. You won't be mad."
- "We go at least once a week."
- "All you can eat and tons of flavors."
End Zone might not have had the early hype of the top three, but once it started showing up in the votes, it showed up everywhere.
Between the variety, the portions, and the consistency, it's clearly one of the most loved spots in Lakeland.
Fifth Place: Bedrock Wings
The Fifth Best Wing Spot In Lakeland, Florida
Bedrock Wings — 2 Locations: Kentucky (Downtown) & Edgewood
Rounding out the top five is Bedrock.
This one stands out for a different reason...
It's not just about the sauce. It's about how the wings are actually made.
With voters sharing:
- "Extra crispy."
- "Best wings in Polk County."
- "Bedrock for sure."
That focus on preparation and texture is exactly what helped Bedrock break into the top five.
