A new Chase Bank is coming to Havendale Boulevard.
It is going on its own outparcel at the new Publix plaza at Havendale and Jersey Road, near the traffic signal.
We first told you about this one in July, when a leasing site plan for the plaza showed Chase on that corner. Now the permits back it up (full image below).
A sign permit was filed with Polk County on Oct. 7 for 3321 Havendale Blvd. It calls for an illuminated “Chase” wall sign with the octagon logo on a “new-build Chase Bank.”

That is not the only filing. County records show a building application from January for a 3,504-square-foot Chase Bank with a drive-up ATM, plus a separate permit from June for the dumpster enclosure.
The county currently lists that first building application as expired, and the dumpster permit is waiting on more information. But new filings are still coming in, and a sign permit is usually one of the later steps.
The builder listed on the permits is iConstructors, a general contractor out of Tampa.
Chase has two Winter Haven branches right now, one downtown on 6th Street NW and one on Cypress Gardens Boulevard. It has none in Auburndale, so this will be the closest one for anyone on that side of Havendale.
The same plaza is also getting a Chick-fil-A and a Sage Dental.
No opening date has been announced.
We found this by monitoring Polk County’s public permit portal.
